Everyone knows about Ukrainian borsh, but Ukrainians have definitely forgotten to mention solyanka - a soup with three types of meat and deli, pickles, and olives. In my opinion, this dish deserves to be the champion of Ukrainian cuisine.

Heating frozen soup can be a quick and easy process if you follow a few simple steps. Here's how:
-
Thawing: Transfer the frozen soup from the freezer to the refrigerator and leave it there for several hours or overnight for slow thawing. If time is limited, you can thaw the soup in the microwave following the instructions on the package.
-
Stovetop Heating: Pour the thawed soup into a saucepan and place it over medium heat. Stir constantly to prevent sticking to the bottom. Bring the soup to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for another 5-10 minutes to ensure all ingredients are evenly heated.
-
Microwave Heating: Pour the thawed soup into a microwave-safe dish and cover with a lid or plastic wrap for venting. Heat on medium power for 2-3 minutes, then check the temperature and stir. Continue heating in 1-2 minute intervals until it reaches your desired temperature.
-
Temperature Check: Before serving, make sure the soup is thoroughly heated and brought to your desired temperature. Use a food thermometer to ensure the temperature in the center of the soup is at least 165°F (74°C).
-
Serving: Ladle the hot soup into deep bowls and serve with slice of lemon and sour cream.
